Our old (1953) house shifts seasonally, and when this happens the back door sticks - sometimes to the point of being unopenable - and the front door won't fully engage the deadbolt. Vortek sent Matt who expertly fixed both of these issues for me, and also installed a new security latch on the back door, corrected the exterior front storm door so it closes properly, and made thoughtful recommendations about further steps we might want to take in the future. Personable, efficient, completely professional, and an excellent problem-solver. I would not hesitate to recommend Vortek, and Matt is a treasure.

The gentlemen who came to do the repairs for water leaks coming in from my attic during the winter were extremely professional, knowledgeable and kept me apprised of what they were checking for and locating all of the problems that needed to be repaired.This is the first time that construction people have made me feel confident in what they were doing. I hired Vortex construction to build a bathroom for me from scratch in my basement and it needed to be done fairly quickly as my mother fell ill and could no longer take care of herself. They went above and beyond for me, always on time, communicated any issues and stuck to the quoted price. This wasn’t the first time I used Vortek nor has it been my last. If you need a new fence, definitely give them a call! Highly recommend and if they can’t do it, they will refer you to someone who can.

The owner & staff were very polite, which is not always the case with construction. They did their best to work around the plants around the deck. They were easy to work with and followed through on my suggestions. And also gave me alternatives to things I hadn’t thought of. The work was well done & done in a timely manner. Thank you.
