Remediation means diagnosing  an underlying problem effectively so it doesn’t happen again. With mould, often times this is specific to finding moisture penetrations in both newer and older homes. And asbestos often is found in drywall, insulation, tiling and other materials commonly used in the building practice of older homes. We take pride at Vortek Construction in our abilities to understand the building processes and to effectively find the source of problems. 

Abatement is required to clean and/or remove hazardous material such as asbestos or mould and to further encapsulate it, as to no longer cause harm to others. Containments are often required, with use of effective chemicals, negative pressure air scrubbers, air monitoring and safe disposal. Vortek Construction works with air quality testing and monitoring and the Government of Alberta for reporting.
